Stringraphy is unique to the world. It is a special harp-like original instrument consisting only of silk strings and papercups.
You can experience the strange and curious music of another world. The sounds created by the Stringraphy are so beautiful, it transcends you out of this world.
We offer three kinds of concerts.
1. “Stringraphy Special Performance”

This is a popular program, “Your very own concert”. This is for guests from abroad who are traveling to Japan. The program is customized according to the number of people; their interests and their schedule. The unique feature of this program is that it is not only an appreciation of the performance, but also an experience.
Kazue Mizushima, the inventor of the Stringraphy, explains in English how the instrument works and how it came to be.

2. Stringraphy Live Performance “Colors of Cocoons”
This concert conveys the appeal of Stringraphy in a wide variety of performances.
These concerts are performed occasionally. Please check out our schedule for the next “Colors of Cocoons” concert.
The program includes original music composed by Kazue Mizushima especially for the stringraphy, classical music, pop, anime songs, and more.

3. “Musical Forest”
This concert is for parents and children including infants. We will play classical music, children’s songs, animation songs etc. We have a special time after the concert when you can touch the strings and make the sounds by yourself. Please come and try!
Adults on their own are also welcome.

※ Daitabashi station is on the Keio Line 2stops from Shinjuku. (Only local trains stop there) When you come out of the station gate ,turn left and go up the stairs then cross over the pedestrian crossing to a convenience store then turn right and follow the road along the railway. After the road curves , you can see a rail crossing. Our studio is the left side just before rail crossing. (Please do not confuse our place with “EVE Studio” in Chitose Funabashi Setagaya-ku.)
